Located in the heart of downtown Fruita, Colorado, Aspen Street Coffee is a locally owned coffee shop and wine bar bringing people together over great coffee, fresh food, and good wine.
The journey that brought us here

The journey that brought us here

John Ortiz, a U.S. Army combat veteran and former Sergeant, was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where good coffee, great food, and bringing people together are simply part of life. Jaime grew up right here in Fruita. A proud Fruita Wildcat, her roots run deep in the community, and she knows there's something special about the small town charm and the people who make Fruita feel like home.
Keeping the heart of Aspen Street

Keeping the heart of Aspen Street

When we took over Aspen Street Coffee, we didn’t want to change what people already loved about it. We wanted to build on it while bringing a little of ourselves into the shop. Our café makes its home in a historic local bank building. The original vault is still here, now serving as our pantry, keeping a piece of the building’s history part of our everyday life.
Where Colorado meets the Caribbean

Where Colorado meets the Caribbean

Today, Aspen Street Coffee blends the personality of the Colorado high desert with the warmth and flavors of the Caribbean. We roast our coffee right here in Fruita, serve familiar coffee shop favorites alongside Puerto Rican and Caribbean inspired food, showcase local art, and create a place where everyone feels welcome.
